Te' Russ never seems to fail when it comes to the McAllister Family! I loved Savannah and Ethan's story. The love they had for each other was real and genuine. Ethan stepped up to the plate and in the process set his mom straight! I'm glad they were able to move on from that and strengthen the bond that never faded. I didn't finish the book. I just didn't hold my interest after everything came to the fore. My biggest problem with the book is the way they lost contact. I mean they both have to be pretty petty not to try to find each other after they claimed to have meant so much to each other. Ethan could've easily found Savannah since she's so famous, and the letter writing Savannah did ? Child please ever hear of email or facebook? Better yet how about a cell number? I just don't buy that they couldn't have met sooner. I just couldn't finish the book it wasn't as attention holding like her others.
After reading the entire McAllister Family Series, back to back, one behind the other, non stop - it's hard to believe I let this author slip thru my fingers. Oh, but don't worry, I've added her to my roster. This author did an amazing job of presenting the story of a large family of once sing, now married family members. she took her time telling the story of each couple. The stories are believable and very well perceived. Her writing style is one of the best. She's not long on words, but the words she chooses to write are the ones to get the story across. She gets to the point, but also makes you lose yourself in your own thoughts.
Great Job. I'll recommend her to any avid reader.

If the rate in which I completed this novel is an indication of how much I enjoyed the book, that would be a fair assumption. Seeing how I bought it last night, and finished it during two boring meetings and hour long conference call. I have no idea what was said. Lol... Here's my review. Ethan and Savannah had a son together after a winter fling when they were teenagers. They were supposed to meet again the following summer, but Savannah was pregnant with EJ. Years later Savannah worked as a nurse, she rarely took time for fun or relaxation. Her Pop stepped in ordering her to take a vacation at the Galveston bed and breakfast, turned family vacation spot. Ethan was on a short vacation as well. He happened upon Savannah at the local ice cream shop and knew immediately, EJ was his son. Once he was able to speak with Savannah; he learned that both were the victims of a poorly planned circumstance that had kept them apart for six years. Over the three weeks together they grew into a family unit and love prevailed in the end..
I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Ethan and Savannah's story. I loved how they reconnect again after 7 years apart. His mother my, my, my. Loved Ethan's aunt and Savvy's mother. The characters and storyline were great. I would recommend you read this book. The author did a good job on this book.
Loved the story. Light easy breezy love story. If you are looking for a good story with as happy ending this is the one for you!
I'm never disappointed when reading this author. I love the McAllister family series. Pick this up, you won't be disappointed.
